- Clean & Disinfect: Spray isopropyl alcohol on both blades and wipe with a chamois opposite the cutting edge to remove buildup safely. Our high-quality suede chamois works exceptionally well.
- Lubricate: Apply professional scissor oil (not clipper oil) daily to lubricate internal parts. Avoid over-oiling. Proper lubrication ensures smoother cutting and extends scissor life.
- Check Tension: Test tension daily. Loose scissors bend hair, while tight scissors damage edges and strain your wrist and thumb.
